2008-04-26 Brookfield Zoo By Drew Gripentrog The BUGS annual trip to Chicago will take us to Brookfield Zoo this semester. Transportation will be provided and a portion of the admissions price will be contributed by BUGS. If you are interested in attending the trip please email an officer for more details. 2008-02-13 Spring Semester Meeting By Drew Gripentrog We will be having a guest speaker come and explain study abroad opportunities offered in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, specifically geared toward biology majors. Additionally, we will be discussing officer appointments for the 2008-2009 school year so be sure to attend if you're interested. 2007-11-07 BUGS Meeting By Drew Gripentrog Biology Undergraduate Society's next meeting is on Wednesday, November 7th from 5:30-7 in 106BBE We are having Renee Martin from Ross University come speak about medical (M.D. program) and veterinary (D.V.M program) school. Also, Alicia Russell from the career center will be giving out tips on "how to write a spectacular resume" and how to handle yourself during an interview. I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about entering the work force, grad, med, or vet school to come listen! 2007-10-04 Environmentalism Meeting By Think Globally, Eat Sustainably or My Beef is Meat! Professor Horton will be discussing environmentalism at our next week as well as an informational meeting from Kaplan and Teach for America. Notice: There will be food! Come and enjoy several vegetarian dishes from the New Pioneer Co-op Deli. Please bring a bowl or dish, cup & utensils (no disposables, please) if you have them.
