Three graduate students in the Integrated Biology (iBio) Graduate Program have recently successfully defended their thesis!

Melinda (Lindy) Brastrom successfully defended her thesis on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020. Lindy is a PhD student under the direction of Dr. Diane Slusarski. The title of her thesis was "A Tale of Two Organs: Dysregulation of rbm24a Leads to Microphthalmia and Cardiomyopathy in Zebrafish."

Beth Osia successfully defended her thesis on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. Beth is a PhD student under the direction of Dr. Anna Malkova. The title of her thesis was "Sources and Signatures of Mutagenesis in Break-Induced Replication."

Benjamin Trendle successfully defended his thesis on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020. Ben is a Master's student under the direction of Dr. John Logsdon and Dr. Andrew Forbes. The title of his thesis was "Analyzing the Genome Evolution of an Asexual Wasp."
