Laura Evans, a senior majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Iowa and an undergraduate researcher in the Blumberg Lab in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, contributed to a study that discovered infants' brains and bodies are unexpectedly active during the quiet sleep stage. The study was recently published in the Current Biology journal and was featured as a story on Iowa Now.
