Congratulations to all the University of Iowa students and alumni who were chosen for the Fulbright Award including former Neuroscience students Ashley Lie-Atjam and Laura Evans!

Ashley recently graduated in May 2023 and will pursue a master's degree in neurosciences at Vrije Universiteit and participate in two research internships focused on Alzheimer's disease with her Graduate Study Fulbright/Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Award.

Laura graduated in 2022 and was selected as a Fulbright Award semifinalist and named as an alternate for 2023-24. She has been working in the lab of Ece Demir-Lira as a Research Coordinator in the University of Iowa Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences.
