Congratulations to Katie Fields, President of the UIBIO student organization at the University of Iowa, for being accepted into the Peace Corps!

Katie will be working as a Youth Development Specialist in Ukraine starting in August 2020. She will spend 2.5 years assisting teachers in special needs classes, creating programs to help reduce the stigma of children with disabilities, and speaking about the rights and opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
